Official kit used for the Wisconsin State Gold Panning Championship. This kit contains
the proprietary mix of sand, gravel, and black sand, an Estwing 16” steel pan, and
a vial containing 5 nuggets that were used in the 2007 Championship. If you want
to compete in the 2008 championship in Sheboygan Falls, WI on July 19-20, this is
the practice kit you want. Information and rules are included in every kit. You
do not need this kit to be in the championship, but I would recommend it. Steel
pan panning is not the same as plastic panning, and the contest does not just use
blond sand from a sand box. It is real panning done the old fashioned way! The
pan is also a great safety pan, it stays put and doesn’t float away on you. The
cost of the kit is $28.00 plus $5.00 shipping. Each additional kit is $3.00 shipping.
